We all want to be seen, appreciated, and promoted.
But here’s a truth I have learned over the years:
Recognition doesn’t lead. It follows.
It follows the ones who:
– Keep showing up, even on the hard days
– Make things better quietly, not noisier
– Take ownership without waiting to be asked
– Help others rise, not just themselves
And it’s quiet at first. There’s no spotlight. No applause.
Just small moments of trust being built.
But then…something changes.
People start coming to you for advice.
Your name comes up in conversations you are not part of.
Leaders start seeing leadership in you even before the title.
That’s how real growth happens.
It’s not about asking,
“When will I be promoted?”
It’s about living the answer,
“I’m already becoming who I need to be.”
So if you are working hard, waiting, and wondering…
Don’t lose heart.
Don’t slow down.
Don’t shrink.
Just keep growing. Keep serving. Keep leading.
Because the truth is:
𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁.
𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄.
