We are witnessing an exciting transformation in the Oracle HCM AI landscape, where automation and intelligence are converging faster than ever.

With the 25D update, Oracle introduced a powerful spectrum of agentic patterns from deterministic workflow agents to goal-based probabilistic agents.

At one end, workflow agents deliver predictable, traceable, and governed execution through deterministic orchestration.

At the other, goal-based agents bring adaptive reasoning, planning, and decision-making – enabling flexible, intelligent automation where multiple paths can lead to success.

Simple Example:
An employee submits an expense receipt (PDF) via email or upload.
An AI Agent classifies it as an expense document, extracts key details like type and amount, creates the record in Oracle Fusion, and notifies HR – seamlessly connecting intelligence with execution.

And now, with the upcoming 26A release, Oracle takes a major leap forward – introducing a new set of LLMs that expand how AI can reason, plan, and execute within enterprise workflows.

This fusion of deterministic workflows with probabilistic AI reasoning paves the way for truly end-to-end intelligent automation blending structure with adaptability.

The future of enterprise AI is here – predictable when it should be, intelligent when it needs to be.

As a Oracle partner, we are thrilled to turn this on for customers and help them realize real business benefits.
