People sometimes find my behaviour confusing.
One day, I’m the loudest voice in the room – brainstorming, connecting, bringing energy to the team.
The next, I’m quiet – thinking, observing, and recharging in silence.
For a long time, I wondered if that made me inconsistent.
Then I realised, I’m not inconsistent, I just belong to both worlds.
Because I’m an ambivert, and that’s where my strength lies.
Leadership, I have learned, isn’t about being always “on.”
It’s about knowing when to speak and when to listen,
when to take charge and when to step back.
Some days, leading means inspiring others with words.
Other days, it means giving others the space to shine.
Both matter equally.
Ambivert leaders bring balance
the confidence to lead and the calm to reflect,
the empathy to understand and the clarity to act.
I’m happy and proud to be an ambivert because it helps me lead with both heart and head.
True leadership begins the moment you master the balance between speaking to influence and listening to understand.
