Starting with Oracle’s monthly update during the week of June 19, the Home with Ask Oracle layout will no longer be available as an option when creating themes in Oracle Fusion Applications.
In addition, during the 26C upgrade, customers currently using this layout will automatically be moved to the News Feed home page experience.
Oracle has announced that it is pausing the rollout of Home with Ask Oracle to introduce a new outcome-driven, agentic Fusion homepage later this year.
That statement provides an important glimpse into the future of enterprise applications.
For years, enterprise systems have been designed around navigation:
โข Open a page
โข Find information
โข Complete a transaction
โข Move to the next task
The next generation of enterprise applications will be different.
Instead of users navigating to work, intelligent agents will increasingly bring work to users.
Instead of asking: “Which page should I go to?”
Users will ask: “What should I focus on next?”
And the application will guide, recommend, automate, and potentially execute actions on their behalf.
This aligns closely with Oracle’s broader vision for Agentic Applications across Fusion, where AI moves beyond answering questions and starts helping users achieve outcomes.

โ
Review your current themes if you are using Home with Ask Oracle.
โ
Plan your transition to the News Feed layout before the 26C upgrade.
โ
Prepare users for the upcoming change.
Most importantly, start thinking beyond AI assistants and chat interfaces.
The real opportunity is not simply asking AI questions.
The real opportunity is allowing AI to help move work forward.
The future Fusion homepage may become less about navigation and more about outcomes.
And that is a very exciting direction for #Oracle.
